IN HONOUR OF INTERNATIONAL PEACE DAY 21 SEPTEMBER

It was raining.

I was surprised. It is only August- spring must be coming early this year! And I was thinking about my advice to the group before the trip not to bring raincoats along….

I always like it raining when I go to Machu Picchu- I am not quite sure why. Maybe because of the mystery- getting into the bus with no idea of where we are going. Feeling the bus winding its way up and up the mountain, but no view to see what is waiting. And hundreds of people doing the same even though we got up so early!

Blindly following an urge that is so strong and yet one cannot understand.

As if in another world…..

The mists were gathering around the mountains. We could not even see the main mountain Huyna Picchu. Then we stopped to greet Puticushi mountain. How this must have looked to the first explorers that came here so very high up in the mountains! How they must have been amazed when the sun started rising.

I could hear something in my ears- a kind of buzzing and then- emotion. Streams of tears were trickling down my cheeks- for no particular reason. Other than that I was once again here.

There was peace in my heart.

I HAD RETURNED.

WHAT IS PEACE?

Some of you may have watched the beautiful peace video on U Tube for International Peace Day. What a wonderful concept to focus on at this time, bringing peace to our world, especially to the areas where there are so many wars and fighting and so many lives being broken and lost.

PEACE IN TIMES OF IMMENSE CHANGE

At this time it is hard to keep that focus on peace within one’s own personal life. There is so much happening that manages to pull us out of the zone of peace- our own judgements of people and situations that come from years - and even generations - of conditioning of fear. The challenging energies of people around us that we come into contact with from day to day. The volatility of the weather. All of what we are bombarded with on the media and other outside influences. Somehow they all seem to conspire in drawing us into the dramas of life that are far too stressful, negative and overwhelming! Will there ever be peace?!!

One just wants to crawl into a cave and hide from it all….needing some safe haven to stay centred, sane and peaceful in it all!

DESCENDING INTO THE EARTH WITH OUR BODIES

The only space that is giving me an anchor to lean on at the moment, is to take myself and my body deeper and deeper into the peacefulness of the Earth. Whether that is actually travelling to ancient places of peace such as Machu Picchu, or being in my garden at home, or visualising myself being somewhere in nature – I feel the need more and more to connect deeply with the Earth.

And stay there!

And with that I have been shown how the Ancient people also used this knowledge of the Earth’s power and especially their pyramids to stabilise and heal their energies during times of change. It is an old memory that we all have.

Pyramids were built on the surface of the Earth, but what was far more important, was what was happening with the Earth on the inside. Underneath the pyramids huge chambers were built where the Ancients would go or travel to- in their bodies to find their peace connection to the Earth and her soul.
If you think about it, it all makes sense. Our experience of the Earth is mostly superficial- we live on the surface, have a surface perception of everything about the Earth. And yet - when we are able to go deeper into the Earth, something important changes!

Our resonance automatically changes.

Science measures this as a change in temperature, humidity and other physical changes, but most importantly, there is a change in our own energy bodies and consciousness.

While most people talk about us ascending as a humanity, a voice in me says, no, we are busy descending! We are becoming more part of the Earth and although it may sound strange, we can then hold a much higher vibration within the density of our bodies.

Pay attention to different people’s ideas about their burial. Often there is a strong need to be buried in the Earth and maybe this is coming from an ancient wisdom of knowing that if we go deeper into the Earth we are getting closer to enlightenment!

This is an interesting concept for me who always wanted to be cremated. And it certainly makes sense when we look at the Tombs of Egypt and other cultures, where the pharaoh or king was given the privilege of entering the Earth and staying there for the afterlife. Somehow this was a key to moving through into a higher vibration – to enable one to go home to the Soul.

I truly believe that one of the keys for coping with all the changes that are happening energetically to our Earth as it becomes more and more part of the bigger picture, is for us humans to become more grounded and connected with the Earth (see also the Earth meditation given below as a suggestion of some ways to do this at the moment). As the vibration of the Earth is increasing and the electromagnetic field around the Earth and also our bodies weakens, the only way forward is for us to descend deeper into our bodies and the Earth!

Otherwise the higher frequencies and resonance of the changes will just be too uncomfortable for our bodies and it will become increasingly difficult for us to stay balanced and become more peaceful in our worlds.

It may be a frightening concept for some, but earth time is catching up with what is whizzing around us already at lightening speed!

YOUR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE EARTH

I would suggest it is time to pay attention to your relationship with the Earth- how much are you grounded and how much are you paying attention to your body at the moment? The better you feel physically and the more peaceful you are, the more you will realise that you have created a good and meaningful personal relationship with the Earth.

The opportunities are all ours to have, as we uncover a new, better and more peaceful world…

THE VINE MOON CYCLE

Also called the Blood Berry Moon with the equinox full moon having been on the 23rd September in the sign of Aries. You will have seen the wonderful site of the full moon rising with the very bright planet Jupiter on that night. Dark moon will be on the 7th October in the sign of Libra.

WHAT ARE THE PLANETS UP TO AT THE MOMENT?

Some of you will know about the combined influence that the planet Saturn (dealing with structures and authority) has had with the planet Uranus (dealing with sudden change and lightening speed). This ended at the beginning of September after a two year period with the influence of Saturn becoming less noticeable. If you look back over the last two years, you will notice how this has affected structures like our governments, the stock exchanges and financial worlds to bring about more responsibility- often through sudden and shocking change.

What is now starting to happen, is an influence of the planet Pluto –the ruler of deep healing and transformation by bringing things to the surface. Not a pleasant process, but Pluto teaches us to accept death, endings and transformation from one form into the other. But in this process the planet Jupiter- the planet bringing good luck, abundance and expansion is also growing stronger. Through being able to go deep into often unpleasant issues, we are able to transform them and bring an expansion of abundance and freedom. Well worth it, but it requires willingness – willingness to acknowledge and look at what is, and what needs to transform.

And it is time to stay focused- focused on what we want and what we can create. Nothing else is really important. It just takes us away from a path of moving forward and of having less fear.

Time to move away from our own negativity and allowing the negative emotions of ourselves to dominate our lives.

We have all the tools we need.

There is a need for many of you to start to pay closer attention to what you are thinking each day. For many of the challenges that you are currently facing actually start within your thoughts.
When you think “Yes I can” then you create the energy of being able to do whatever you choose to do. You create a sort of positive energy vortex that supports you in whatever it is that you are doing. You open the door to support and assistance from the spirit realms as you set this positive intention into motion.
If you face a task thinking, “No I cannot”, then just the opposite happens. You set the energy of not being able to do what you are thinking about doing and no spiritual assistance comes to your aid because you have just set the intention that you cannot and will not do something.
Don’t be fooled by how you phrase your thoughts, “I can’t”, “I won’t”, “I am not capable” all set the same tone and intention of not bringing what you want into being.
We recognize that for many of you that what is behind these negative thoughts is actually fear. You use “I can’t, I won’t, I am not capable” as a cover for this fear – most often the fear of what might happen if you actually do what you are thinking about doing.
Your fears and your thoughts work together as a sort of protective mechanism for you. It is like you are attempting to save yourself the possibility of pain by not even trying. And I want to say that again, you are saving yourself the possibility of pain.
And what is a possibility? Another thought. It is the thought that because something happened in the past, it might just happen again in the future if you dare to take the risk and do that which you have fear of doing.
It all comes down to your thoughts. That is the block for most of you, just distorted thinking, something that you learned to do as a child to maintain a level of safety as a child.
The difference is that you are now adults, living in a different situation with so many more skills and resources than you had as a child. The risk of the same thing happening again that happened in the past is so remote that there is no reason to have any fear. It is highly unlikely that the same thing would ever happen again, and if it does, you are well equipped to deal with the situation – and – now you know you have abundant help from the spiritual realms.
So, we say, it is time to move forward into doing what you came here to do. You need not let distorted thinking stop you from pursuing any dream that you have. What you are passionate about IS your soul work that you are being called to do through the feeling of passion.
So, how to get over this block of distorted thinking. It’s really quite simple, change your thoughts. And while it may be a challenge for some to change your thoughts right away, you all CAN change what you speak about and what you write about.
You may be thinking, “I can’t do that” but you can get around this protective mechanism by saying out loud or writing down. I can do that – or better still – I am doing that. Just this simple shift changes everything.
At first is may feel scary or difficult and that is where we in spirit come in. When you have that feeling just add the word “Help” to your statement and help is on it’s way. You can change your statement to “I am doing that and I am getting help from my guides and angels.”
That is all it takes my friends. Just a simple shift in what you say to yourself. Try this when you feel afraid of doing something and see what happens. We are here to help and you all have the gifts and abilities to do so many amazing things to change your life and the planet. It’s time to get on with your work – No more excuses.

“My best friend who I've known for 20 years now, her son was serving out in Afghan clearing IED's...(land mines) and he lost both his legs 9 weeks ago, so that was pretty tough going, he is only 20 bless him. But through it all he has stayed very positive and is making excellent progress, his just gone off to Headley court for rehab.....his parents and I have set up the Invicta foundation, which supports injured troops and the long- term aim is to build modified homes for them so they can stay with there families after discharge from Queen Elizabeth hospital before going to Headley court, as not many are wheel chair friendly.....to help raise funds I'm doing a sponsored tandem skydive...I think I have finally lost the plot.....lol.

The government of Tanzania has approved a major commercial highway across Serengeti National Park. The northern Serengeti – located near the Kenya border – is the most remote and pristine area in the Park’s entire ecosystem. Serengeti National Park's locally and globally significant ecosystem is driven by migration of wildebeest, elephant and zebra; and will be utterly devastated by the plan, as will be local livelihoods and well-being. There is a growing local and international support network protesting the project, and together we should be able to ensure it never commences.

MEDITATION
Note: this may look deceptively simple, but as with all things in life, the more simple, the more powerful and also you are working with powerful intentions.

Meditation

Find a seat somewhere where you are able to be still and relax.

As you start to relax, close your eyes and imagine the running sound of water- it may be a stream that is gently flowing past where you are sitting, a waterfall you are next to - anything that reminds you and your body of water.

Now consciously start to relax your body:

And as you relax, you imagine that you are feeling a gentle pressure or energy in your third eye (between the eyebrows) and imagine that with your intention you are using it like a light to shine on all the different parts and organs of your body- just relaxing and letting go:

First start to relax and focus on your scalp and the top of your head. Relax.

Relax even your hair and your skull consciously.

Next relax your whole face, starting from the top of your forehead, down to the eyebrows, the eyelids, the inside of the eyes, the lashes.

Next the side of your face, your temples, the ears, the earlobes, your inner ears, your cheeks, your nose, the inside of the nose.

Imagine all of these parts of your body starting to getting heavier and heavier, more and more relaxed and warm.

Now take your attention to your lips, your mouth, the inside of your mouth, your tongue, your teeth, the back of the mouth. Next your chin, your jaw- just feel it all relaxing and softening.

You and your body are totally safe.

Now move gently further down - into the neck, the back of the skull where the atlas joins the skull, the vertebrae going down the neck at the back, your psychic gate at the top of the shoulders, your throat in the front. Just relaxing and letting go.

Next move down from the shoulders into the arms. The upper arms, releasing any tension in the arms, the elbows, moving down into the lower arms, the wrists, the hands, all the little bones and muscles in the hands, the fingers, the nails, the fingertips, the palms of the hands. Just relaxing and letting go.

Feeling this gentle relaxation moving further down through the body into the torso- relaxing the lungs, all the small blood vessels of the lungs, into the physical heart, the chambers of the heart, the pumps of the heart, the arteries, moving down to the diaphragm, the stomach, all the muscles, the lining of the stomach – just relaxing the body and letting go.

Moving with your thought through the lower abdomen- the small intestine, the large intestine, the internal organs- the kidneys, the liver, the spleen and pancreas- all of them and all the millions of cells in them relaxing, getting heavier and just letting go.

Moving down into the sexual organs, relaxing the bladder, the anus, the hips and all the muscles around them- feeling them all softening and just letting go.

Next take your focus to your upper legs, the back of the upper legs, the front of the upper legs, the knees, all the small muscles and bones in the knees, moving down to the lower legs, the calves, the ankles, the feet, the top of the feet, the toes, the toe nails, the soles of the feet.

Feel your whole body being completely relaxed and safe and warm.

Imagine that you are standing at a beautiful staircase and that there are 10 steps going down. You feel very comfortable, there is a railing along the side and you start climbing down.
Taking the first step- one. Going deeper and deeper into yourself and your body.

Taking the next step- two. Going down

Taking the next step- three. Feeling heavier and heavier each time you are stepping down.
Taking the fourth step- four. Moving deeper and deeper into yourself- totally relaxed and safe in your body.

Taking the next step- five. You are now deeper in your body than ever before.

Next step- six! Deeper and deeper still.

Stepping down the next step – seven. Each time you are stepping down, you are getting closer and closer to a beautiful chamber.

Taking the next step- Eight. Deeper and deeper.

Nine. Taking the next step down, feeling very relaxed and open.
Ten.

You are now deep down in a chamber and as you look around you, you see that it is covered in beautiful gold. And there is a golden bright light that is shining in this chamber.

You feel very safe and protected and as you imagine yourself standing there, you become aware of the presence of an Earth Guide.

This guide loves you totally and unconditionally and has come to help you.

Feel the energy of this guide and how it soothes you. You feel incredibly peaceful and happy in their presence.

Imagine sitting down and staying there in the chamber for a while- and as you are just sitting there, you become more and more aware of how your resonance and energy is changing. You feel very star connected but still very aware of being in your body.

It is as if you are very deep inside the Earth.
Now slowly start to call yourself back again. Thank your guide for being with you and helping you to change your energy to a higher resonance and peace.

Then imagine that you start to climb up the staircase again- VERY SLOWLY.
And as you are coming up, your body is still feeling very comfortable and safe- you are becoming more and more aware of present time, feeling refreshed and revitalised and alive to everything around you:

TEN – NINE – EIGHT – SEVEN – SIX – FIVE – FOUR – THREE – TWO – AND ONE…

Now slowly start to open your eyes when you feel you are ready.

Drink some water and pay attention to how your body is feeling, try to stay calm, open and relaxed.
