When the Spanish invasion ruptured Peru, one place was saved by the Earth herself: Machu Picchu – completely covered and shielded by the jungle- it remained safe and unknown to the warring conquistadors.
Going to Peru is quite an unique experience- it is an inner and outer journey with many wonderful colours. No money can ever reflect the value you give to yourself when making this journey. Please note: The journeys have both been chosen because of the positions of te moon and the planets during those times to make them the most powerful and auspicious journeys for you to experience in Peru during 2009.
MAGICAL JOURNEY TO MACHU PICCHU
Ten-night programThe Arthurian School invites you to step out of yourself and enter a mystical journey to the ancient land of Peru. Each day after a relaxed buffet breakfast, you will visit a different ancient Inca site in the Sacred Valley. You will be invited to experience the ancient qualities of these sites (sometimes in silence) and time will also be set aside for your own personal exploration of the site and some hiking. In addition, you will be able to stay in rural Peruvians villages and observe the unique cultures of the local people of the Sacred Valley who still live very much in a traditional way with their colourful crafts and markets.
You will not have to worry about any logistics or the stress of being left to do much of the exploring and decisions of what you should see on your own. Instead you can simply relax, enjoy and use the time available to the fullest. Each hotel and hostel where we stay is, wherever possible, chosen for its special location, simplicity and atmosphere and is recommended for its ample hot water and cleanliness- not always a given in Peru! The Arthurian School has been leading Sacred Earth journeys to Peru for the last two years and believes that there is no other program like this at present being offered in terms of uniqueness, quality, diversity and value for money. Moreover, no other itinerary provides such a specialised hands on trip where you can have a non- commercialised tourist experience, but still have the benefits of being with an organised and stress free structured program itinerary.
It also offers an ideal opportunity to spend a sufficient period of time at the area of Machu Picchu and its beautiful environment in the cloud forest. Although doing the Inca Trail can be very rewarding, it is only accommodates camping and is relatively physically demanding with camps shared by many other participants on the trail. Usually only a few hours are reserved after the trail to spend at Machu Picchu which really should be the highlight of the trip! You also miss out on staying in some of the most interesting villages on the way to Machu Picchu.And so the trip is structured to offer the best of both worlds: an opportunity to visit places where the descendents of the Inca still live in rural villages and also some proper time to really get in touch with the ancient heritage of the Machu Picchu area. And you will still have the opportunity to do some magnificent hiking in the area. It is in our experience one of the most flexible journeys available at this time, taking into account the needs of each individual group and also each person – participants are given freedom to experience the journey in whatever way suits them best - all that is required is a genuine love and respect for the Earth!
Elizabeth who leads the progam is an experienced travel facilitator and has worked with sacred earth sites for over 8 years. Day One (Wednesday)Departure from home country for Cusco City via Lima. Cusco is only a short flight over the mountains from Lima, the Peruvian capital situated on the Pacific coast.
Day Two (Thursday)The program begins in Cusco, ancient capital of the Inca Empire. Arthurian School will meet you in the morning at the airport in Cusco and take you to a comfortable hotel conveniently situated near the historic Plaza de Armas. Rest for a few hours and acclimatise to the 11,000 ft altitude before the program officially begins. At 1pm The Arthurian School invites you to a welcome lunch, followed by a group orientation meeting and introduction to this special program. Afternoon walking tour through the cobblestone streets of Cusco to see fascinating Inca stonework en route to the Plaza De Armas, the Cathedral and Koricancha Museum, the holiest site during Inca times. Explore the remarkable technological wonders of this remarkable culture. Supper at recommended restaurant café and early night to rest, or enjoy a walk through the San Blas artists’ district, a quaint area filled with artisan and art shops, or stop in at one of the lively restaurants or coffee shops. (Lunch included)
Day Three (Friday)After a buffet breakfast in the hotel, early bus to the sacred site at Saksaywaman overlooking the city of Cusco. Impressive stonework and structures weighing hundreds of tons will leave you in awe. How did the ancestors build those structures without the use of the wheel and steel implements? Here we do a simple ceremony to honour and tap into the sacred energies of Pachamama (Mother Earth). Return to Cusco for lunch on your own and to do some further sightseeing and exploring of the museums or shops around the main square. Or if you still feel affected by the altitude, you may just wish to relax in one of the many cafes that line the streets of this fascinating Inca Captial. Group meets back at the hotel for late afternoon departure to the market town Pisaq in the Sacred Valley. We leave Cusco and travel over the mountains down into the Urubamba Valley. Orientation at hostel in Pisaq and dinner at recommended restaurant. (Breakfast included)
Day Four (Saturday)After a buffet breakfast at the hostel, we visit the ruins overlooking Pisaq with impressive Inca terraces. After Machu Picchu these ruins are rated to be the most spectacular. You have the option to walk up about 2000 ft from the village to the ruins in the mountains above, or catch a taxi to the main ruins. We return in the afternoon for a rest and some free time to explore the village of Pisaq. After an early supper at a recommended restaurant you are invited to join in a traditional Quero meditation with the four elements guided by Diane Dunn who has lived in Peru for many years. (Breakfast included)
Day Five (Sunday)After a relaxed buffet breakfast at the hostel, we have a very special opportunity to see and experience the traditional Sunday market of Pisaq. Known as the most authentic and colourful of all the Inca markets in the Sacred Valley, you will be able to see the traditionally-dressed mountain people coming to barter and sell their produce cultivated in the high mountains. Be prepared- this market offers the best opportunity to buy woven goods, jewellery, colourful wall hangings and hand-painted beadwork and also wonderful photographic opportunities! Watch the lively activities of the market and also take time to explore the countryside hiking, or simply being in nature. Others may wish to use the time to rest or write in their travel journals. Dinner at recommended restaurant. (Breakfast included)
Day Six (Monday)One of the highlights of the trip. Special day with visit to Moray terraces and Salineras. After breakfast, your day will begin with a visit to the mysterious concentric terraces found near the small village of Moray. The Incas were well known for their effective government, the impressive architecture and, especially, their agricultural skills. Even today, the terraces used by the Incas can still be seen everywhere in Peru and experiments have shown that using the ancient agricultural techniques can be more effective than modern day agriculture. Apart from the peculiar shape of the terraces at Moray, another major sight is the beautiful landscape: the Earth has a special ochre tone here and the Andes provide a glorious view and backdrop for the fields. The theory most often heard is that the three circles at Moray were used as a sort of agricultural laboratory by the Incas, but there are also other explanations such as religious use. It definitely has a mystical quality, especially late afternoon, when shadows begin to fill the amphitheatre- like terraces. Few people make it here as it is not part of the normal tour programs and it is therefore a fantastic place to visit. Interesting flora.Optional short trip to Salineras, 500 year old salt pans built by the Incas to gather salt. Hot water flows out of a spring in the side of the mountain and the mineral rich water is diverted through miles of little channels and to hundreds of pans created on the mountainside for evaporation. These pans are still used today to create salt licks for cows.Return to hostel in Pisaq and after dinner, early night in preparation for journey the next day (Breakfast included).
Day Seven (Tuesday)Early start after breakfast with a drive through the Sacred Valley to the picturesque village of Ollantaytambo. After settling in at our hostal, we have an opportunity to visit its ruins with wonderful stonework and sun temple. Preparation for Machu Picchu and time to relax or explore the village and its markets. Traditional menu dinner at well known Hearts Café. (Breakfast included)
Day Eight (Wednesday)Spectacular train ride through the Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes, the lively village situated below the nearby Machu Picchu ruins. Along the way there are stunning views of snow-capped Veronica peak (5860m) and the beautiful cloud forest full of orchids, ferns flowers and hanging moss. The scenery on the way will blow you away! After check into your hostal, you have the day free to wander through the colourful town of Aguas Calientes, visit the shaman shops and general market for gifts, clothes and crystals and to have lunch along the river. Soak up the energies of the cloud forest and the mighty Urubamba river before an early dinner and retiring for the night so as to prepare for an early start the next day to visit Machu Picchu! (Breakfast included)
Day Nine (Thursday)Rising at 4.30 am, we catch the first bus to Machu Picchu to see the early morning sunrise, or if you feel energetic and would like to walk up to the ruins it will take you approximately two and half hours. We arrive at sunrise at Inti Punku, the Gateway of the Sun, where through a rectangular doorway we experience a panoramic view of Machu Picchu. After taking a short path down, it is time for us to explore and discover the real secrets of the Incas and pre- Incas. Known as the historical Inca centre of spiritual and political power, you are invited to take part in sacred ceremony honouring the Earth. Later on in the morning there is time to do your own exploration of the ancient site as a pilgrim. You will also be assisted in deciding which areas you might wish to further explore or hike.Meet back at the hostal at 6pm. Weather permitting, the group is invited to participate in an outdoor Earth healing ceremony with the Full Moon. After the ceremony, we have a celebratory delicious dinner in one of the finest restaurants in Aguas Calientes. (Breakfast included)
Day Ten (Friday)A day of mindfulness. After Machu Picchu, participants are welcome to unwind and integrate their experiences. Massages are available to pamper the body and you are invited to join in a morning visit to the thermal hot springs of Aguas Calientes. The energetic and those not afraid of heights who want to climb Huayna Picchu, Young Mountain, that overlook the site and has a spectacular view of Machu Picchu, may leave on the 5.30 am bus (have ready approx $40 to re-enter the ruins and $12 for a return bus trip). The climb to the top takes up to two hours and care must be taken, especially if the steps are wet. Others can at their option take a hike to a nearby waterfall, or visit the local Machu Picchu museum (entrance approx. $15). Dinner at recommended restaurant (Breakfast included)
Day Eleven (Saturday)After breakfast, train journey back from Machu Picchu and then on to Cusco where we spend overnight. Farewell dinner celebration at Sams Café in Cusco. (Breakfast and Dinner included)
Day Twelve (Sunday)Program begins and ends in Cusco on Sunday morning with breakfast included.
Further alternatives after close of Sacred Earth Journey and Retreat on Sunday morning:
1. Early morning return flight from Cusco to Lima airport and connecting flight home. If you are planning to depart Lima today (Sunday), we suggest that you do not book to depart until at least after 2 pm (14h00 hrs). With some exceptions, most overseas flights out of Lima tend to leave in the evening.
2. Return flight from Cusco to Lima and stay in Lima for 2 days to explore its many interesting Gold and Archeological museums and then to take flight back to home country. (The School can recommend hotel to stay and day tours)
3. Two more days in Cusco to explore on your own and catch flight back to home country via Lima. (The School can make some recommendations).
4. Ayahuaska ceremony in the Sacred Valley (ask School for more information on this sacred healing plant ceremony)
5. Amazon 3 day excursion (ask School for more information- cost approx. $330 for return flight Lima- Puerto Maldonado and approx $400 for excursion)
The order within the above itinerary may vary slightly to suit the needs of the group and is subject to change in extraordinary circumstances and when so guided. The weather in the Andes is unpredictable and may cause delays or cancellation of flights or activities. Changes in flights and train schedule are common in Peru. The School has only had slight adjustments to its activities due to local rail strikes and some minor weather conditions. However, it cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen events in Peru or elsewhere that may disrupt this program. It strongly suggests that all participants take out travel/health insurance to protect your travel investment.

Flights
Please co-ordinate your flight times with the School.Air Malaysia offers a convenient flight from Cape Town to Buenos Aires and then there are flights with LAN PERU or TACA airlines to Lima, the capital of Peru. It is often cheaper to book these flights separately on the internet. The Air Malaysia flight leaves Cape Town mid morning and arrives in Buenos Aires at about 3.30pm Argentinian time (about a 4 hour flight but gaining time) and the connecting flight to Lima is another 4/5 hours arriving in Lima late evening. So usually necessary to sleep over in Lima before catching an early morning flight to Cusco- unless you are happy to stay in the airport overnight!
If you are travelling from the Middle East, Europe or the UK, you may fly via Madrid or New York depending on your preference and best pricing.There are many internal morning flights of LAN PERU or TACA between Lima and Cusco, but it is a popular route and so booking is recommended. The flight from Lima to Cusco can be relatively expensive if booked on the internet (normally it should be in the region of $150 each way and if you are unable to find this as a reasonable price, the School can assist you to make these reservations via a local Peruvian travel agent who will charge a small commission).
Additional informationPlease check the requirements of your country for visas. No visas are required for Peru if you hold a South African passport, but you do need a yellow fever injection certificate to show on your return to South Africa (easy to have and painless!). There is no malaria in the cloud forest of Machu Picchu but if you plan to also do a trip to the Amazon it is recommended that you take homeopathic malaria tablets.Additional detailed tour information, including suggested packing and reading lists will be made available to you on registration.

Ayahuaska Sacred Ceremony Option“I sat on my mat and waited for the unknown, consciously relaxing my senses and releasing my physical tension. Soon the jungle noises rang in my ears like wind chimes, tinkling bells. In my mind’s eye, flecks of colour and shapes danced to this strange music I was hearing. My hands began to tingle and my head to spin. I took a deep breath and reminded myself to surrender and trust. Immediately an inner dialogue started that lasted for the duration of my amazing journey.The voices I heard were my own levels of consciousness as well as wisdom guides, messengers, and loudest of all, God Herself. All were communicating with me, simultaneously. I was disoriented in my body and all my senses, yet capable of discerning and understanding all the messages at once. Nothing was normal. Many voices were talking me through what was happening, so I wouldn’t be afraid. I didn’t like being physically out of control, but the voices were so reassuring that I moved beyond fear like falling from a shooting star, and fell right into the loving arms of God. I heard her voice so clearly and felt her presence so close as to be connected, with nothing separating us. Then I felt nauseous…..The effects of the Ayahuasca were becoming milder. My senses were feeling more familiar. I knew that normalcy would return soon. The voices were quieting down. But I was also losing that crystal clear connection with God. She was still with me but the veil between us was becoming more opaque.All the inner knowing I possessed in my place of origin was slipping away from me.In its place was a profound love. Love so deep and wide, I simply floated in it. I felt so grateful. I felt grateful for love and life itself. I felt grateful for the insights I had been given, the visions I’d seen and for the indelible connections I’d made. I felt grateful for moving beyond fear and trusting in the amazing possibilities that lie on the other side of it.‘Know that if you choose this, everything else in your life will change.’And it did.

The SHAMANS of South America and Peru
South America and more particularly Peru is a place for shamanistic experiences. There the tradition has never really disappeared and so it is a place of great and many opportunities to work with the other worlds and dimensions.On my last visit to Peru in October, I had the joy of meeting up with Diane Dunn (the writer of the above extract) and also reading parts of her book. She is an American living in Peru having started a spiritual centre in a beautiful area of the Sacred Valley of Machu Picchu called Pisaq. Interestingly enough she also spent some time in South Africa during the early nineties when she worked for a charity.When I read her book, I was very much struck by her account of taking a sacred medicine plant of the jungle in Peru, called the Ayahuaska.And after my return to South Africa further synchronicities happened leading me to take part in one such ceremony - much to my own surprise! I had always known about the plant, but never felt drawn to it. I now know that this was mainly because of my deep seated fears of losing control and my body not being of a sufficiently high enough vibration for it to be a positive experience.But when I asked for my higher guidance this time, the answer was clear- to trust my intuition and follow the synchronicities that had lead me so far.And so it was with some trepidation that I sat in a circle readying myself for probably what has been one of the most profound experiences in my life.I feel that Diane’s account above really does justice to what happened to me- I had a very similar experience and it felt that all my psychic senses had opened up simultaneously. It was quite incredible, because I was like an observer, conscious seeing how I was operating in the world of matter.What I also feel was unique about it, was that unlike any meditation or spiritual experience I had ever had, this was ALSO happening in my physical body and so it integrated something in a way that I had never happen before.The incredible feeling of freedom and release from fear held in my body was quite amazing and it literally felt as if I had been cast into gold after going through the cleansing of a sacred fire.The essence of the plant is in my experience to balance whatever is in the body that is out of balance with my soul. And so I felt a lot of discomfort in the areas of my body where I am aware I still hold blocks. And the wonderful thing was that afterwards it felt that I had actually conquered them by allowing the medicine plant to assist me with its energies.
Many call the Ayahuaska a death experience and I can really relate to that. It is as if I was able to shed a skin and experience a death of that part of myself that was so held in fear that it needed to be shed and die.When you google the word Ayahuaska you will find so many accounts of negative experiences. I consciously chose not to go into the experience with preconceived fear, but to know that if I set a positive intention and consciously choose to use it as a healing experience I would not resist the healing magic of the plant and so ensure that I have the most beneficial experience.I also knew that the particular shaman that did the ceremony was holding so much of the potential of the experience and as I could see how he was working with the sacred energies of the plant, I was assured that he was working from the heart and that I could totally trust the experience.What I also know is that the experience has changed me and my life completely for the better.
And so I have been guided to for the first time offer also the option of an ayahuaska ceremony as part of an extension to the journey. UNDERLYING THOUGHT FOR SACRED EARTH RETREATS:When you work from love in your heart, other forms of consciousness will open to you. For example, the nature spirit kingdoms or the Earth Mother herself. You cannot force the doors to other kingdoms, they will only open to you when the love in your heart is developed to a degree whereby those forms of consciousness feel safe to open in your presence, and when they know that you have developed to a point in your own evolution where you will not misuse the information given. If you can open yourself to a point where the light of heaven and earth can be seen in your heart, then all forms of consciousness can see the love within you and will open to you if it is appropriate to communicate.

Hi everyone!
With the incredible alignment that has just happened between the new moon and Venus – the planet of Love- and Jupiter, the planet of freedom, abundance and expansion, we are already in amazing and wonderous times.
Never before has there been such an opportunity for Love.
What is Love? It is the glue that holds our universe together. It is the mysterious force that scientists are yet to quantify, but what is already inside of all of us. It holds us and our reality together- it is the energetic fabric of our very being, the thread that weaves and holds our infinite expressions and creations in this physical world together.
WE ARE LOVE. That is the very essence of who we are. Everything else is a physical illusion, an opportunity to play with what is not real.
Even darkness is illusion- light a small candle and see how it evaporates like mist in front of the Sun!
LOVING IS THE WHOLENESS WE ALL SEEK TO IN ORDER TO BE HAPPY. When we incarnated into a human body, a vast part of us remained non-physical, and we will only feel truly happy and fulfilled when we are in vibrational alignment with that greater and eternal part of us- AND THAT ETERNAL PART IS LOVE AND LOVING.
When we are in tune or alignment with that part, we cannot but love ourselves, see ourselves as beautiful and perfect and see everyone else also in that light of perfection.
We will never feel good and never be who we truly are, unless we are in that state of remembering that we are only Love. Because that is truly who we are!
And when we judge ourselves and others, when we find fault with ourselves and others, we create resistance that takes us out of that state of alignment, because we no longer vibrate in the energy of our true selves.
We are no longer in our heart.
Why is it that we all feel so much better in nature? It is simply because all the plants and animals in nature are in their vibrational truth- ie they are simply that what they are- A tree is a tree and does not pretend to be something else- it has no thoughts like us humans to take it out of that truth and makes it forget what it is. And so Mother Earth and her creatures are in perfect alignment with themselves- they do not pretend to be anything else than what they are, and so they can help us to remember how to also be in our natural state of being – and that is Love.
A NEW CYCLE OF THE SIXTH DAY
After the recent intensity of events during the last new moon cycle that began the end of all forms of dominance in our world, we are now moving into a completely new cycle - a one year influx of light that the Mayans called “the Sixth Day.”
The Sixth Day of the Mayan Calendar (the calendar is called the Tzolkin) began on the 13th November and heralds a time that the Maya called the flowering for the plant- which means a time of awakening, unfolding and opening up to new possibilities.
Most Mayan scholars call this period a time of “enlightenment,” or renaissance and in history the Sixth Day brought the invention of tools, and the European Renaissance of Michaelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci.
And so it is a time of incredible opportunity to manifest our visions and dreams- the visions and dreams we have had to “file” away because it all just seemed so impossible to achieve.
The message of the New Moon of this month falling within the beginning of the Sixth Day is one of hope, optimism and above all Love. It is a time of new beginnings, receptivity, trust, Earth Mother, nourishment, protection and infinite possibilities. It is a time where we can remember who we truly are, and start to co-create from that vibration and energy of Love.
We now realise that as part of the next growth stage in this fantastic journey we are having as co-creators and caretakers of our beautiful planet called Gaia or Earth, we cannot use our minds alone to keep up with the evolutionary changes - we are now called to also use our instinctive and intuitive abilities to guide us along the ascending path.
And with this intuition we are able to consciously choose the high road:
- to be positive, loving and compassionate.
AND WITH THAT, TO START RESHAPING OUR OWN WORLDS.
EVOLVING TO OUR TRUE DESTINY OF BEING CO-CREATORS AND CARETAKERS OF THE EARTH
With the falling away of dominance, each individual on Earth is beginning to realise their own worth and starting to feel their own purpose and their own responsibility. Each person is beginning to realise their full potential as loving human beings.
This potential includes the ability to consciously co-create new realities with the Earth. By looking back to our ancestors and by incorporating ancestral knowledge we are able to use this unique opportunity to evolve, and to create the dreams and visions that we collectively hold for a new world.
I am shown how the ancient civilisations of monuments of Egypt, Peru, Mexico and others will become more and more important as we as a humanity are starting to decode the old messages of the Ancients. Never before are we asked like now to look into our heart to receive this wisdom that will ensure our future evolution as a human race on this planet. But it is absolutely important that we now all become connected to our hearts and stay in the energy of who we truly are.
THE EGG
The symbol of an egg. The egg is revered in PERU as very sacred in their shamanic tradition. Often shamans do egg readings and if one looks at the site of Machu Picchu from a specific angle, the Earth looks rounded- like the bottom part of a broken egg - and the ruins on the site look like creatures emerging from that broken egg.
It seems obvious to say that, but a hen’s egg will bring forth a hen’s chicken, and an eagle’s egg will bring forth an eagle. Yet this very simple principle illustrates a profound wisdom that the ancient INCAS knew: the symbol of the egg holds a key to an incredible secret for creation: whatever you feel yourself to be, that is what you will create.
If you don’t know and feel yourself to be Love which is what you really are, you cannot create that in our world. It is energetically impossible to create what you don’t feel yourself to be.
And because the Earth already knows and lives according to her true nature, it is up to us to also feel and get in vibrational alignment with who we really are in order to evolve and co-create a new world with her.
It is only through becoming connected to our hearts that we will be able to survive the next phase of evolution of the Earth. She wants us all to journey forward with her, but if we cannot be in our hearts, it will just not be a possibility.
Living from the heart is therefore no longer a preference, it is an absolute necessity. IT IS A QUESTION OF SURVIVAL FOR ALL OF US AS WE RACE TOWARDS 2012 AND BEYOND.
THE NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS
The new moon started on the 28th November in the sign of Sagittarius (the Archer) and so it is an ideal time to take aim towards a high and lofty goal while knowing that all of nature supports us in hitting our targets.

I AM LOVE MOON MEDITATION

Meditation
Allow yourself to relax and start to focus on your breath- in and out………….. in and out……………., in and out…………….. Allow yourself to let go any cares or worries or tension, and just allow the breath to take you deeper and deeper into the body. Feel yourself sinking deeper and deeper into a blissful state of nothingness. Just completely let go.
Feel that as you are sinking deeper and deeper, you are becoming more and more relaxed in your body. Focus on your third eye between the eyebrows and then start to relax your whole body even more, telling it that it is safe for you to completely let go.
Now imagine that in front of you, you are seeing a portal. The portal is wide and inviting and you feel drawn to go to it. As you stand at the portal, you are able to look through the arch and you can see a picture unfolding in front of you. Carry on looking at what you are being shown, but take care not to go through the portal. You are the observer and the reality you are seeing behind the portal is happening in the third dimensional world of matter. Enjoy watching what you are seeing and also realise how you are in that reality drawn away from what is real and how easily there you forget who you really are.
Now carefully step through the portal but this time you remain conscious. Feel your body and arms and hands and look at them as they are in a physical reality. Observe any feelings that come up and release them.
Now start to laugh at the way you have been getting drawn into things that really don’t matter at all! Observe the absurdity of it all! Realise that it is just a play that needed acting out, but it is not real. Maybe see some faces that look scary, but as you laugh at them, they seem to just disappear evenly and without any effort. Feel yourself for the master that you really are. Become aware of what really matters in your life and for you.
NOW LOOK UP INTO THE SUN.
It is incredibly bright but it does not bother you. It is as if you are part of it and it is inviting you to take part in something incredible. Feel yourself being taken up on a cloud that is floating higher and higher up into the sky. You are being taken higher and higher but strangely enough you don’t feel any fear at all- in fact you feel elated!
Now it starts to become darker and you can see a small crescent moon shining brightly in the sky. There is a moon ray faery that looks at you with an amused look as you sail by. You tell her that you are on a journey to the Central Sun.
You can already feel the heart beat of that Sun’s consciousness as it pulsates through you more and more, but at the same time you also become aware that you are standing on the Earth once more. It is as if you have become part of the bigger whole that is all connected.
See the Earth in all her beauty and feel the love that she has for you. Listen as she asks you to find you true heart again. Feel her asking you to remember her and yourself as you both really are.
AS you feel the rays of sunshine on your back, you start to return. Slowly you become aware of your body. There is a white light that is pulsating in your third eye and all you hear is a refrain in your head that is repeated over and over again: I AM LOVE, I AM LOVE, I AM LOVE.
Resting for a while, you come back easily to the place where you were standing in front of the portal. You close your eyes and then you are back in the time and place of now, bringing with you a new awareness of the Love that you have always been in this physical illusion of reality.
THE MOON CYCLE OF DECEMBER
called the Birch Moon, the Star Frost Moon and the Long Night Moon
Thanksgiving Day
Very appropriately the new moon cycle started on Thanksgiving Day in the United States, the 27th of November. How much do we have to be grateful for with the beginning of the new and really exciting cycle of the Sixth Day!
When I was in the States during thanksgiving quite a number of years ago, it struck me how unifying it was as a public holiday. It almost seemed more important than Christmas because of the States’ multitude of nationalities and different backgrounds that do not necessarily practise Christianity. And yet thanksgiving united them all as a nation. On the day of Thanksgiving I felt a really beautiful energy enfolding the whole land as if everyone was holding hands and looking towards a beautiful future.
The Birch Tree
Another aspect of this new moon is that significantly it is called the Birch moon. The Birch tree is according to Celtic tradition symbolic of boundaries and new beginnings. What is interesting is that often birch wood rods were used in corporal punishment because of the Birch’s flexibility and strength and so it may be appropriate to also reflect where you need boundaries to stop some form of punishment in your life. It may even manifest as some punishing behaviour that some else is “doing” to you, but in essence that person is just showing you a part of yourself that still holds a judgment of or are critical of yourself and believes that you should be punished for it.
This cycle of the new moon can therefore be very helpful to become aware of these old emotional patterns to do with boundaries and to help you to consciously bring love to that part of yourself and the situation. Only love can truly heal our hearts that have suffered so much from limiting beliefs and judgmental attitudes!
I also feel the pain of the Birch having been historically used in this way by us as humans and so we can also send loving thoughts to the Birch tree energy and elementals to help heal the way that we have abused its use through using it as an instrument of pain to hurt others.
What the moon and planets are doing
As you will have noticed, the magnificent pair of Venus and Jupiter are close to each other in the western evening sky this month. On the 1st December the moon occulted Venus, meaning that Venus seemed to disappear behind the moon. During this month Jupiter will continue to move towards the sunset and gradually grow dimmer, whereas Venus, the planet of love and beauty pulls away from it and grows ever brighter. By the end of the month Saturn will have slowed down, cautioning us to lay sound foundations and its rings will be very hard to see as they turn edge on to the Earth. In September 2009 the rings will go completely edge on and seem to completely disappear and it will take them about another year to become prominent again.
Also look out for the Geminid meteors around 12th December.
No planets are retrograde during December and so much progress can be made!
Solstice
On the 12th December it is the pagan Solstice full moon in the sign of Gemini and it is Solstice itself on the 21st December when the waning moon is in the sign of Libra. Solstice is also called Yule that means wheel of the year and in the northern hemisphere it is the time of the longest night and the shortest day. Keep a flame alight through the longest night and wait for the dawn. If you are able, celebrate amongst standing stones!
On the 13th December it is the Swedish festival of rebirth of light called ST Lucia’s Day. Often there are processions in Sweden through the streets with the women wearing long dresses and carrying a star and a crown of candles and evergreen in their hair as maidens and the starboys wearing pointed hats. They visit hospitals and nursing homes, offering coffee and lussekatt buns and St Lucy fires are lit when incense is thrown on and everyone bathes in the smoke.
Christmas
On the 25th December it is the Christian festival of the winter solstice (that used to fall on 25th December) when homes are traditionally often decorated with holly, rosemary, laurel, bay and mistletoe. Mistletoe being a symbol of fertility and healing that speaks of hope and our embodiment of change. So may it be!
MOON PERSON OF THE MONTH
With us all celebrating Christmas during this moon month it is wonderful to introduce you to Fllur Owen, a Welsh actress who has done some retreats with me and recently played the lead role as Jesus in a rather amazing and controversial play about Jesus being a woman!
Fllur sent me some photographs of the play and I felt so privileged to see and connect with them. There was such incredible passion in them and I felt that the play opened up a lot of new energy around the theme of Christmas and what the true message was of the Master Jesus.

Let the Divine Love of who you really are, flow through you
and shape your World anew….
Hi everyone!
With the incredible alignment that has just happened between the new moon and Venus – the planet of Love- and Jupiter, the planet of freedom, abundance and expansion, we are already in amazing and wonderous times.
Never before has there been such an opportunity for Love.
What is Love? It is the glue that holds our universe together. It is the mysterious force that scientists are yet to quantify, but what is already inside of all of us. It holds us and our reality together- it is the energetic fabric of our very being, the thread that weaves and holds our infinite expressions and creations in this physical world together.
WE ARE LOVE. That is the very essence of who we are. Everything else is a physical illusion, an opportunity to play with what is not real.
Even darkness is illusion- light a small candle and see how it evaporates like mist in front of the Sun!
LOVING IS THE WHOLENESS WE ALL SEEK TO IN ORDER TO BE HAPPY. When we incarnated into a human body, a vast part of us remained non-physical, and we will only feel truly happy and fulfilled when we are in vibrational alignment with that greater and eternal part of us- AND THAT ETERNAL PART IS LOVE AND LOVING.
When we are in tune or alignment with that part, we cannot but love ourselves, see ourselves as beautiful and perfect and see everyone else also in that light of perfection.
We will never feel good and never be who we truly are, unless we are in that state of remembering that we are only Love. Because that is truly who we are!
And when we judge ourselves and others, when we find fault with ourselves and others, we create resistance that takes us out of that state of alignment, because we no longer vibrate in the energy of our true selves.
We are no longer in our heart.
Why is it that we all feel so much better in nature? It is simply because all the plants and animals in nature are in their vibrational truth- ie they are simply that what they are- A tree is a tree and does not pretend to be something else- it has no thoughts like us humans to take it out of that truth and makes it forget what it is. And so Mother Earth and her creatures are in perfect alignment with themselves- they do not pretend to be anything else than what they are, and so they can help us to remember how to also be in our natural state of being – and that is Love.
A NEW CYCLE OF THE SIXTH DAY
After the recent intensity of events during the last new moon cycle that began the end of all forms of dominance in our world, we are now moving into a completely new cycle - a one year influx of light that the Mayans called “the Sixth Day.”
The Sixth Day of the Mayan Calendar (the calendar is called the Tzolkin) began on the 13th November and heralds a time that the Maya called the flowering for the plant- which means a time of awakening, unfolding and opening up to new possibilities.
Most Mayan scholars call this period a time of “enlightenment,” or renaissance and in history the Sixth Day brought the invention of tools, and the European Renaissance of Michaelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci.
And so it is a time of incredible opportunity to manifest our visions and dreams- the visions and dreams we have had to “file” away because it all just seemed so impossible to achieve.

COLLAPSE OF AN OLD FINANCIAL ORDER
Within the sign of Scorpio with both the sun and the new moon, powerful forces of transformation and even energies of death are being called in to work.
We are already seeing the collapse of major financial structures and old linear world businesses undergoing some very painful surgery of elements and constructs that no longer serve the higher good of humanity.
Illusions must go and the truth is being revealed- and so we are all being set free. At times when there is just too much of the old vibration that is heavy and cannot be transformed, it is simply being swept away. There is no time now to linger with decisions and energies that no longer serve us and they are being cut away.
Underlying all of this is a righteous anger of wanting to be recognised and honoured and for all to have a voice to speak. No longer will anyone be silenced, it is their divine right to be heard and for the words of truth both personal and global to be spoken. The power of the word is being recognised and we are being taught to remember a higher cosmic language.
This is not a comfortable time for anyone. We have all been part of the old world and to see it crumble and fall beneath our feet is uncomfortable to say the least!
Yet it all must go and we must start to create with vision the higher frequencies of the New World that must now come and is already being created by our thoughts and actions. We can no longer just expand more of the same, we are being asked to move into new octaves and levels of growth that involve not only the evolution of our personal self, but also the evolution of human consciousness and a human species. And the planet is herself is growing and changing and evolving like she has never done before.
Having been involved with the monetary world of law and finance for many years, I marvelled on my return from Peru at the tremendous changes and turmoil that had started to take place in the financial world with currencies diving and share markets falling. How long have we been conned by an American system that is based on debt with valueless paper called money that only has a value because we believe that it has! At last we are seeing the illusion of it all, how so-called wealth is created by a powerful elite that has unilaterally decided what the rules of the game are.
Maybe it is time to consider how the monetary system was set up in such a way that more and more money can be printed at any time, devaluing what is already held by us in circulation, and with the painful and disempowering obligation to repay money borrowed with onerous interest. Because of the concept of interest, there actually is not enough money for all the obligations within the monetary system to be met, and default by someone is always inevitable. It has been described as being part of a game of musical chairs and whoever is unlucky enough not to be near a chair to sit down when the music stops, will be called into default. By borrowing and having to pay interest to the banks and lending institutions, we have been caught up in the game where we are held to ransom and no matter how hard we work and how much we try to get even, we never will because there is just not enough money in the system. Someone is always doomed to failure.
This places the most incredible pressure on each individual to meet and repay their interest obligations. It is nothing more than a clever modern day form of slavery that has been created and the best thing about the game is that we don’t even need to be feed or housed like the slaves of old! A perfect system of human abuse.
And so the game goes on and on. We spend our lives being trapped in an inhumane system that only expects, and in fact gives nothing in return. We run around scared to try and gather the limited resources that are there to keep this system and its threats at bay, and so are taught to compete against one another. How can we then ever be expected to help one another and work together? The system breeds competition and distrust. It is everyone for themselves - not because we are evil or mean, but because that we have been conned to believe that we have no power but to be part of this system and it is the only way to survive. A system that promised everything but in fact has produced nothing but suffering and pain.
TO UNDERSTAND IS TO TRANSFORM WHAT IS
It is time to recognise the truth of the old financial system and be set me free from that deep, deep guilt and feeling of being a failure, because we have not been able to beat its demands and fallen short. We can now realise that what we were asked to do is in fact impossible to achieve. We have been conned by the system to try and make it work.
And just by that recognition, the realisation of what is - we can be set free. A huge energetic burden of struggle can lift and we can start to feel a healthy detachment from all the fear and drama and concerns about money and what the future will be for us financially. The image of a trader jumping out of window in Wall Street with the stock market crashing need not be a fear driven message or a defining image of the future!
Observe this greedy monster that we have allowed to rule our lives and by knowing the cons of the game we no longer need to be a hooked in by it. It no longer needs to define how life should be.
The game is over!
I sincerely believe that by taking our power back and becoming more equal in our relationship with the banks and financial institutions, we can start to rebuild a positive new future. If we cannot afford something, we need to just grow up and be content to wait until we can, or let go of it. The price of credit is just energetically too high to pay because it hooks you back into the system.
Recently on the plane to Peru I had the privilege to sit next to an amazing woman from Chile. She had just visited South Africa with her two sisters. We chatted about our lives and shared some wisdom. She told me that she was a teacher and that she had started her own school that grew from only 7 pupils to a school of over 400 students. When I asked her what she thought was her greatest key to success, she did not hesitate to answer: the fact that she started small and with the financial help of some friends so that she never had to deal with the pressure of having a loan from the bank. She also believed that this made sure that she could make decisions with integrity about the business and without having to take on students just for the sake of earning enough money to repay the loan and heavy interest. It was a really unexpected but thought provoking answer!
Consider the system of exchange used by ancient civilisations: it is so much more suited to our individual needs and talents, and with that we can start to live in a way that is not wasteful and still fulfil all our basic and other needs. Is it time to stop being a consume- r, and to become an exchange –r?
The Incas practised a system of ayni karpay that means energy exchange. They believed that for everything to be in balance, there has to be an exchange of energies by giving and also receiving. With such a system nothing gets depleted and there is balance and harmony. What a contrast to what we have today.
The age of rampant consumption of everything, based on the unscrupulous system of debt creation money with interest, has to be replaced with something more honest. Both parties need to truly benefit from it, not only the one who has had the most power.
And realise this: the only real wealth is in nature- everything that we have comes from nature, even the paper used to create money!
I am reminded of the Native American saying that only when we have chopped down all the trees and polluted all the water, only then will we realise that we cannot eat money.
Nature is very economic in its consumption for growth. We can learn so much from how nature plans and protects itself for times of change when access to resources vary, such as during times of climatic change, droughts, etc.
And the manipulation of world powers and authorities of nature and natural resources by way of manipulation and using war as a cover up must now stop –all is transparent and it will no longer be allowed.
HOW MATERIALISTIC ARE YOU?
Ask yourself and try to be really honest – how materialistic are you? How much do you judge yourself and others on the basis of what they have and what they don’t? Are you really free from the old conditioning?
And how do you use money? Has it ever occurred to you to use something else instead of, or otherwise in combination with money?
My friend Karen and I went for a meal the other day and I wanted to pay the bill as a goodbye gift for her leaving for the UK. She wanted to also make a contribution and we then got the idea of me using her contribution to buy an olive tree that I will plant in my garden - to celebrate us being together and also our friendship. It felt so meaningful instead of just dealing with money in terms of notes and coins- because there was so much more thought and “energy” that went with the money and its use.
And so I feel more and more drawn to do things differently where it comes to money and payments. It is as if we need to become more creative with it and start to look at infusing a positive energy of balance into it when we do transactions with one another.
When I was living in the UK, I became almost addicted to charity shops- what a pleasure to find something really inexpensive that is unique, provides for an interesting experience and is helping something worthwhile too.
And when I was often stuck with not being able to afford buying birthday presents, I would choose something really small but meaningful and focus a lot of beautiful and meaningful energy into it to bring love into the person’s life. It may not have been the most expensive present, but the vibration was far more important than the outer form, and so as we start to become less superficial and rather appreciate energies, we can transform the way we look at and make use of our own so-called limited resources.
Maybe we can start to bring more “heart” and meaning into money and our whole monetary system for the future by using positive and creative intentions.
I like the way the Sufis would look at this, because according to my understanding they would call this giving money a different “voice”.
According to the Sufis there is no object, or place in the world where there is not some “voice” that has been engraved upon it. What is meant by that, is that the object or place has become a reproducing record of what has been given to it consciously or unconsciously. Some energetic imprint is given to it by the person or persons handling the object, or being at that particular place. What is called psychometry is really learning the language or voice that the object speaks and apart from the colour of form an object has, there is something in that object that speaks to you- it has a voice.
How wonderful would it be if money no longer will have an empty voice of greed, endless consumption and heartless competition, but instead can reflect an energy of goodwill, sharing and meaningful abundance!
Once we are no longer part of a system that forces us to be in constant competition with one another, we can relax, enjoy life and work on accomplishing things as a humanity together. Maybe we can find a new spirituality in money and out of that unfold a New World.
THE COMING OF 2012
This vision of a New World is no pie in the sky, it is utterly achievable at this time of great change and constant evolution happening in the years leading up to 2012.
I was interested to read Diana Cooper’s information on this. Here is what she says about 2012:
These are divine moments when anything can happen. Miracles and wonders beyond imagining might take place. At this time anything can happen and this is why the ancients could not see beyond this point. We are due a step change in consciousness.
And her vision prayer for 2012 is also really beautiful and fits in with the vision of a new abundant world:

We have a real opportunity to work with the new moon cycle this month to create some positive and powerful change on very deep and lasting levels about our finances and money and also the financial systems of the world.
Use all the opportunities presented to you- you can make a difference and remember that there is only one true power - and that is the power of One.

THE FULL MOON OF NOVEMBER
called the Yew Moon, the Fire Friend Moon, the Tree Moon or
the Summer’s End Full Moon
The New Moon Month cycle started on the 31st October with a Scorpio new moon.
The two brightest planets, Venus and Jupiter draw slowly together in the west at night and look lovely together after the sun has set. By the end of this month they are quite close. On the 1st November the new crescent moon was near Venus at twilight, and on 3rd November, it is near Jupiter. Venus brings beauty and Jupiter is the planet of abundance, so interesting that they are dominant this moon month to bring more opportunities for beauty and abundance in the world.
Mars, the planet of war, but also action, is for a change moving out of view and gives us all a well deserved break!
You can also see Saturn in the early morning sky, but if you look through a telescope or binoculars you will notice that the rings seem to have disappeared because of them turning more edge on to the Earth.
On 21st November the waning moon is near Saturn in the morning sky.
You may also see some Leonid meteors around 17th November in the night sky.
Full moon is on the 13th November in the sign of Gemini favouring communication on all levels. Gemini is the messenger of the Gods and there may be some good tidings on its way later on this month. Hang in there is definitely the theme of this month!
On the 31st October was Halloween as well as the moon’s northern autumn equinox. The most important Wiccan festival and time of New Year called Samhain was also celebrated on the 1st November, being a time when the veils between the material and the spirit worlds are very thin and there is a powerful opportunity to explore what death means for you. Like nature, we also experience times of death in order to reach new growth and new life.
Be still, look at your own resources and those immediately around you. Amid despair we can find hope and ways forward from unexpected places: be open to those possibilities, and make good use of them to achieve transformation. RE-use, recycle, repair, improve, share.
MEDITATION WITH THE
FULL MOON NOVEMBER 2008
I had the gift of experiencing physical death recently with my little dog Vincent dying in his sleep the very morning I returned from Peru. Vincent was only 8 years old, born on the 2nd November in the sign of Scorpio that is ruled by Pluto, the planet of death and transformation, and a really special little soul.
With his death, he taught me so much about the true qualities of Scorpio – the process of dying in a physical body, human grieving and despair that eventually lead to a deeper feeling of gratitude for life, and becoming more open to new possibilities and hope.
Because we are in the sign of Scorpio at the moment with also the new moon having started in that sign, I would like to dedicate this full moon meditation to him- and to thank him for teaching me so much that I needed to learn.
I miss you Vincent!
Meditation
Allow yourself to relax and start to focus on your breath- in and out………….. in and out……………., in and out…………….. Allow yourself to let go any cares or worries or tension, and just allow the breath to take you deeper and deeper into the body. Feel yourself sinking deeper and deeper into a blissful state of nothingness. Just completely let go.
As you concentrate on your breathing, you feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed in your body. Feel your whole body relaxing and as you feel this happening also talk to your body in your mind and assure it that whatever happens during this meditation, it is always safe and connected to a higher source of light.
Now start to feel yourself drifting away, as if you are being carried away on a deep and loving river that is flowing along a beautiful and secluded mountain path. It is early night time and even though your eyes are closed, you are aware that the full moon is high above you and you can feel the rays of the full moon as it gently caresses your face. It is guiding your path.
Drifting along the river, you can feel the support of the water below you and slowly a knowing comes to you that the reason why you are drifting along the river is because it is part of your own death transformation ceremony.
But the thought of being dead and still in your body does not scare you - in a way you feel excited about what is happening and what you are about to experience as a consciousness.
As you continue to drift easily with the water and as the time passes, the night becomes even darker, and you can feel the power of the stars intensify.
You can “see” with the inner vision of your third eye the glittering lights of the stars- as if they are coming closer and closer and that you and your body are being magnetised up into the sky! You feel yourself sitting up and you realise how huge your body has suddenly become.
You are now a huge giant in the sky.
But it all feels so natural and easy and there is no fear or trepidation. You enjoy the feeling of peace and the ability to relax and just to be part of the night sky.
Then you become aware of yourself floating again, but this time it is the Milky Way that is guiding you, like a huge starlight river in the sky.
And you and your body feel what it is like to experience yourselves as a Star.
You see the millions of stars that are circling around you and you are immersed in the oneness of All. Everything around you is bright, and new, and filled with wonderful hope. There is an excitement about the future.
You JUST KNOW that everything is going to be fine.
You want to linger forever in this space, you after a while you know that it is time for you to return, and so when you are ready, you slowly start to descend with a body that feels completely different – it feels much lighter and rested.
And you notice that your ears have become clearer and you are able to hear more the silvery tone of the Moon and the Stars as your inner guidance. You love the stillness and silence, and the acceptance of your life as it is.
You now become more present and all your chakras open to exactly the right level for you to be active, alive and totally present in the now.
You slowly can open your eyes and return.
After the meditation you may want ponder on anything you have experienced or even write it down in a journal. You may also want to rest or spend a while on your own after the meditation.
THE LAW OF ATTRACTION
Most of you will be familiar with the Secret and will have had some interesting experiences with manifestation according to the principles of THE LAW OF ATTRACTION.
I would like to share with you, the work of Canadian Michael Losier who also teaches the law of attraction. (thanks to Su who introduced me to his work!)
I have found that the following three techniques are really helping me to change a very old way of doing things and to keep my vibration high:
HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT TO BE?
So often one gets caught up in the negativity of someone who is complaining or stuck in a negative mindset. What Michael suggests and works absolutely brilliantly and it is so simple to apply, is to then just use a very simple question:
SO HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT TO BE?
Most people that complain don’t even realise that they are stuck in a negative space and really heavy vibration, and this simple question can help them to focus instead on the opposite that immediately raises their vibration and also helps you as a person in their space to maintain your own vibration.
What we focus on we will create, so by moaning or having thoughts within ourselves that is complaining about something in our lives that is not the way we want it to be, is simply reinforcing that vibration and hey presto! that is exactly what we will once again over and over create!
So try to use it with people in your space and also the thoughts inside that need changing.
Try to avoid using the words NO, NOT and DON’T
This is particularly helpful if you have children, dogs etc that you want to teach to do things differently.
By saying DON’T MAKE A NOISE, you are actually focusing on NOISE and so calling in that vibration, once again creating the same.
However, if you instead state the opposite of that ie for example, WE ARE QUIET, you are now focusing on what you want to create and the energy can then attract that result!
Try it, you will also be amazed at how different it feels! You will feel that the heaviness of always having to say no, or be negative, goes away. I used to feel like I am nagging and yet with stating the opposite of the negative, I achieve the very thing I want and I also feel much lighter in the process.
It is really effective to work with an awareness of the vibration of words and their focus.
The above takes practice and often I have to think about what the opposite is of what I don’t want! And so it is a really powerful way to show how we automatically are conditioned to focus on the negative and how it has become so instinctive and natural for us, instead of first thinking positively.
FOCUS ON WHAT YOU ADMIRE ABOUT A PERSON
Instead of thinking about what irritates you, or you don’t like about a person, focus on what you do like – even if it is just one thing. By doing this, you are once again keeping your vibration high and you can attract the positive energies of what you want into your life. It has nothing to do with what is right or wrong, it is a simple matter of knowing a universal law that states that if your vibration stays high, you will be able manifest the good things you want for your life. And so you benefit without being caught up in a low vibration about that person that is unproductive in your life.
MOON PERSONS OF THE MONTH
I would to introduce you to two very beautiful souls and friends of mine, Berto Voigt and his partner Tamar.
I recently had the privilege of spending some time with them here in Pringle Bay and what a delight it was!
Both have really wonderful gifts and here is what Tamar says about what they do:
“Berto and I always shared a dream of providing a Sacred space for people of all walks of life to come and just be and on 1 December 2006, we opened Essence in Brighton Beach, Durban. Essence provided a sanctuary for like-minded souls to meet and experience alternative ways of life and living, albeit trying new healing modalities or eating heavenly cakes. We can no longer just expand more of the same, we are being asked to move into new octaves and levels of growth that involve not only the evolution of our personal self, but also the evolution of human consciousness and a human species. And the planet is herself is growing and changing and evolving like she has never done before.
Having been involved with the monetary world of law and finance for many years, I marvelled on my return from Peru at the tremendous changes and turmoil that had started to take place in the financial world with currencies diving and share markets falling. How long have we been conned by an American system that is based on debt with valueless paper called money that only has a value because we believe that it has! At last we are seeing the illusion of it all, how so-called wealth is created by a powerful elite that has unilaterally decided what the rules of the game are.
Maybe it is time to consider how the monetary system was set up in such a way that more and more money can be printed at any time, devaluing what is already held by us in circulation, and with the painful and disempowering obligation to repay money borrowed with onerous interest. Because of the concept of interest, there actually is not enough money for all the obligations within the monetary system to be met, and default by someone is always inevitable. It has been described as being part of a game of musical chairs and whoever is unlucky enough not to be near a chair to sit down when the music stops, will be called into default. By borrowing and having to pay interest to the banks and lending institutions, we have been caught up in the game where we are held to ransom and no matter how hard we work and how much we try to get even, we never will because there is just not enough money in the system. Someone is always doomed to failure.
This places the most incredible pressure on each individual to meet and repay their interest obligations. It is nothing more than a clever modern day form of slavery that has been created and the best thing about the game is that we don’t even need to be feed or housed like the slaves of old! A perfect system of human abuse.
And so the game goes on and on. We spend our lives being trapped in an inhumane system that only expects, and in fact gives nothing in return. We run around scared to try and gather the limited resources that are there to keep this system and its threats at bay, and so are taught to compete against one another. How can we then ever be expected to help one another and work together? The system breeds competition and distrust. It is everyone for themselves - not because we are evil or mean, but because that we have been conned to believe that we have no power but to be part of this system and it is the only way to survive. A system that promised everything but in fact has produced nothing but suffering and pain.
TO UNDERSTAND IS TO TRANSFORM WHAT IS
It is time to recognise the truth of the old financial system and be set me free from that deep, deep guilt and feeling of being a failure, because we have not been able to beat its demands and fallen short. We can now realise that what we were asked to do is in fact impossible to achieve. We have been conned by the system to try and make it work.
And just by that recognition, the realisation of what is - we can be set free. A huge energetic burden of struggle can lift and we can start to feel a healthy detachment from all the fear and drama and concerns about money and what the future will be for us financially. The image of a trader jumping out of window in Wall Street with the stock market crashing need not be a fear driven message or a defining image of the future!
Observe this greedy monster that we have allowed to rule our lives and by knowing the cons of the game we no longer need to be a hooked in by it. It no longer needs to define how life should be.
The game is over!
I sincerely believe that by taking our power back and becoming more equal in our relationship with the banks and financial institutions, we can start to rebuild a positive new future. If we cannot afford something, we need to just grow up and be content to wait until we can, or let go of it. The price of credit is just energetically too high to pay because it hooks you back into the system.
Recently on the plane to Peru I had the privilege to sit next to an amazing woman from Chile. She had just visited South Africa with her two sisters. We chatted about our lives and shared some wisdom. She told me that she was a teacher and that she had started her own school that grew from only 7 pupils to a school of over 400 students. When I asked her what she thought was her greatest key to success, she did not hesitate to answer: the fact that she started small and with the financial help of some friends so that she never had to deal with the pressure of having a loan from the bank. She also believed that this made sure that she could make decisions with integrity about the business and without having to take on students just for the sake of earning enough money to repay the loan and heavy interest. It was a really unexpected but thought provoking answer!
Consider the system of exchange used by ancient civilisations: it is so much more suited to our individual needs and talents, and with that we can start to live in a way that is not wasteful and still fulfil all our basic and other needs. Is it time to stop being a consume- r, and to become an exchange –r?
The Incas practised a system of ayni karpay that means energy exchange. They believed that for everything to be in balance, there has to be an exchange of energies by giving and also receiving. With such a system nothing gets depleted and there is balance and harmony. What a contrast to what we have today.
The age of rampant consumption of everything, based on the unscrupulous system of debt creation money with interest, has to be replaced with something more honest. Both parties need to truly benefit from it, not only the one who has had the most power.
And realise this: the only real wealth is in nature- everything that we have comes from nature, even the paper used to create money!
I am reminded of the Native American saying that only when we have chopped down all the trees and polluted all the water, only then will we realise that we cannot eat money.
Nature is very economic in its consumption for growth. We can learn so much from how nature plans and protects itself for times of change when access to resources vary, such as during times of climatic change, droughts, etc.
And the manipulation of world powers and authorities of nature and natural resources by way of manipulation and using war as a cover up must now stop –all is transparent and it will no longer be allowed.
HOW MATERIALISTIC ARE YOU?
Ask yourself and try to be really honest – how materialistic are you? How much do you judge yourself and others on the basis of what they have and what they don’t? Are you really free from the old conditioning?
And how do you use money? Has it ever occurred to you to use something else instead of, or otherwise in combination with money?
My friend Karen and I went for a meal the other day and I wanted to pay the bill as a goodbye gift for her leaving for the UK. She wanted to also make a contribution and we then got the idea of me using her contribution to buy an olive tree that I will plant in my garden - to celebrate us being together and also our friendship. It felt so meaningful instead of just dealing with money in terms of notes and coins- because there was so much more thought and “energy” that went with the money and its use.
And so I feel more and more drawn to do things differently where it comes to money and payments. It is as if we need to become more creative with it and start to look at infusing a positive energy of balance into it when we do transactions with one another.
When I was living in the UK, I became almost addicted to charity shops- what a pleasure to find something really inexpensive that is unique, provides for an interesting experience and is helping something worthwhile too.
And when I was often stuck with not being able to afford buying birthday presents, I would choose something really small but meaningful and focus a lot of beautiful and meaningful energy into it to bring love into the person’s life. It may not have been the most expensive present, but the vibration was far more important than the outer form, and so as we start to become less superficial and rather appreciate energies, we can transform the way we look at and make use of our own so-called limited resources.
Maybe we can start to bring more “heart” and meaning into money and our whole monetary system for the future by using positive and creative intentions.
I like the way the Sufis would look at this, because according to my understanding they would call this giving money a different “voice”.
According to the Sufis there is no object, or place in the world where there is not some “voice” that has been engraved upon it. What is meant by that, is that the object or place has become a reproducing record of what has been given to it consciously or unconsciously. Some energetic imprint is given to it by the person or persons handling the object, or being at that particular place. What is called psychometry is really learning the language or voice that the object speaks and apart from the colour of form an object has, there is something in that object that speaks to you- it has a voice.
How wonderful would it be if money no longer will have an empty voice of greed, endless consumption and heartless competition, but instead can reflect an energy of goodwill, sharing and meaningful abundance!
Once we are no longer part of a system that forces us to be in constant competition with one another, we can relax, enjoy life and work on accomplishing things as a humanity together. Maybe we can find a new spirituality in money and out of that unfold a New World.
THE COMING OF 2012
This vision of a New World is no pie in the sky, it is utterly achievable at this time of great change and constant evolution happening in the years leading up to 2012.
I was interested to read Diana Cooper’s information on this. Here is what she says about 2012:
These are divine moments when anything can happen. Miracles and wonders beyond imagining might take place. At this time anything can happen and this is why the ancients could not see beyond this point. We are due a step change in consciousness.
And her vision prayer for 2012 is also really beautiful and fits in with the vision of a new abundant world:

Use all the opportunities presented to you- you can make a difference and remember that there is only one true power - and that is the power of One.

THE FULL MOON OF NOVEMBER
called the Yew Moon, the Fire Friend Moon, the Tree Moon or
the Summer’s End Full Moon
The New Moon Month cycle started on the 31st October with a Scorpio new moon.
The two brightest planets, Venus and Jupiter draw slowly together in the west at night and look lovely together after the sun has set. By the end of this month they are quite close. On the 1st November the new crescent moon was near Venus at twilight, and on 3rd November, it is near Jupiter. Venus brings beauty and Jupiter is the planet of abundance, so interesting that they are dominant this moon month to bring more opportunities for beauty and abundance in the world.
Mars, the planet of war, but also action, is for a change moving out of view and gives us all a well deserved break!
You can also see Saturn in the early morning sky, but if you look through a telescope or binoculars you will notice that the rings seem to have disappeared because of them turning more edge on to the Earth.
On 21st November the waning moon is near Saturn in the morning sky.
You may also see some Leonid meteors around 17th November in the night sky.
Full moon is on the 13th November in the sign of Gemini favouring communication on all levels. Gemini is the messenger of the Gods and there may be some good tidings on its way later on this month. Hang in there is definitely the theme of this month!
On the 31st October was Halloween as well as the moon’s northern autumn equinox. The most important Wiccan festival and time of New Year called Samhain was also celebrated on the 1st November, being a time when the veils between the material and the spirit worlds are very thin and there is a powerful opportunity to explore what death means for you. Like nature, we also experience times of death in order to reach new growth and new life.
Be still, look at your own resources and those immediately around you. Amid despair we can find hope and ways forward from unexpected places: be open to those possibilities, and make good use of them to achieve transformation. RE-use, recycle, repair, improve, share.
MEDITATION WITH THE
FULL MOON NOVEMBER 2008
I had the gift of experiencing physical death recently with my little dog Vincent dying in his sleep the very morning I returned from Peru. Vincent was only 8 years old, born on the 2nd November in the sign of Scorpio that is ruled by Pluto, the planet of death and transformation, and a really special little soul.
With his death, he taught me so much about the true qualities of Scorpio – the process of dying in a physical body, human grieving and despair that eventually lead to a deeper feeling of gratitude for life, and becoming more open to new possibilities and hope.
Because we are in the sign of Scorpio at the moment with also the new moon having started in that sign, I would like to dedicate this full moon meditation to him- and to thank him for teaching me so much that I needed to learn.
I miss you Vincent!
Meditation
Allow yourself to relax and start to focus on your breath- in and out………….. in and out……………., in and out…………….. Allow yourself to let go any cares or worries or tension, and just allow the breath to take you deeper and deeper into the body. Feel yourself sinking deeper and deeper into a blissful state of nothingness. Just completely let go.
As you concentrate on your breathing, you feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed in your body. Feel your whole body relaxing and as you feel this happening also talk to your body in your mind and assure it that whatever happens during this meditation, it is always safe and connected to a higher source of light.
Now start to feel yourself drifting away, as if you are being carried away on a deep and loving river that is flowing along a beautiful and secluded mountain path. It is early night time and even though your eyes are closed, you are aware that the full moon is high above you and you can feel the rays of the full moon as it gently caresses your face. It is guiding your path.
Drifting along the river, you can feel the support of the water below you and slowly a knowing comes to you that the reason why you are drifting along the river is because it is part of your own death transformation ceremony.
But the thought of being dead and still in your body does not scare you - in a way you feel excited about what is happening and what you are about to experience as a consciousness.
As you continue to drift easily with the water and as the time passes, the night becomes even darker, and you can feel the power of the stars intensify.
You can “see” with the inner vision of your third eye the glittering lights of the stars- as if they are coming closer and closer and that you and your body are being magnetised up into the sky! You feel yourself sitting up and you realise how huge your body has suddenly become.
You are now a huge giant in the sky.
But it all feels so natural and easy and there is no fear or trepidation. You enjoy the feeling of peace and the ability to relax and just to be part of the night sky.
Then you become aware of yourself floating again, but this time it is the Milky Way that is guiding you, like a huge starlight river in the sky.
And you and your body feel what it is like to experience yourselves as a Star.
You see the millions of stars that are circling around you and you are immersed in the oneness of All. Everything around you is bright, and new, and filled with wonderful hope. There is an excitement about the future.
You JUST KNOW that everything is going to be fine.
You want to linger forever in this space, you after a while you know that it is time for you to return, and so when you are ready, you slowly start to descend with a body that feels completely different – it feels much lighter and rested.
And you notice that your ears have become clearer and you are able to hear more the silvery tone of the Moon and the Stars as your inner guidance. You love the stillness and silence, and the acceptance of your life as it is.
You now become more present and all your chakras open to exactly the right level for you to be active, alive and totally present in the now.
You slowly can open your eyes and return.
After the meditation you may want ponder on anything you have experienced or even write it down in a journal. You may also want to rest or spend a while on your own after the meditation.
THE LAW OF ATTRACTION
Most of you will be familiar with the Secret and will have had some interesting experiences with manifestation according to the principles of THE LAW OF ATTRACTION.
I would like to share with you, the work of Canadian Michael Losier who also teaches the law of attraction. (thanks to Su who introduced me to his work!)
I have found that the following three techniques are really helping me to change a very old way of doing things and to keep my vibration high:
HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT TO BE?
So often one gets caught up in the negativity of someone who is complaining or stuck in a negative mindset. What Michael suggests and works absolutely brilliantly and it is so simple to apply, is to then just use a very simple question:
SO HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT TO BE?
Most people that complain don’t even realise that they are stuck in a negative space and really heavy vibration, and this simple question can help them to focus instead on the opposite that immediately raises their vibration and also helps you as a person in their space to maintain your own vibration.
What we focus on we will create, so by moaning or having thoughts within ourselves that is complaining about something in our lives that is not the way we want it to be, is simply reinforcing that vibration and hey presto! that is exactly what we will once again over and over create!
So try to use it with people in your space and also the thoughts inside that need changing.
Try to avoid using the words NO, NOT and DON’T
This is particularly helpful if you have children, dogs etc that you want to teach to do things differently.
By saying DON’T MAKE A NOISE, you are actually focusing on NOISE and so calling in that vibration, once again creating the same.
However, if you instead state the opposite of that ie for example, WE ARE QUIET, you are now focusing on what you want to create and the energy can then attract that result!
Try it, you will also be amazed at how different it feels! You will feel that the heaviness of always having to say no, or be negative, goes away. I used to feel like I am nagging and yet with stating the opposite of the negative, I achieve the very thing I want and I also feel much lighter in the process.
It is really effective to work with an awareness of the vibration of words and their focus.
The above takes practice and often I have to think about what the opposite is of what I don’t want! And so it is a really powerful way to show how we automatically are conditioned to focus on the negative and how it has become so instinctive and natural for us, instead of first thinking positively.
FOCUS ON WHAT YOU ADMIRE ABOUT A PERSON
Instead of thinking about what irritates you, or you don’t like about a person, focus on what you do like – even if it is just one thing. By doing this, you are once again keeping your vibration high and you can attract the positive energies of what you want into your life. It has nothing to do with what is right or wrong, it is a simple matter of knowing a universal law that states that if your vibration stays high, you will be able manifest the good things you want for your life. And so you benefit without being caught up in a low vibration about that person that is unproductive in your life.
MOON PERSONS OF THE MONTH
I would to introduce you to two very beautiful souls and friends of mine, Berto Voigt and his partner Tamar.
I recently had the privilege of spending some time with them here in Pringle Bay and what a delight it was!
Both have really wonderful gifts and here is what Tamar says about what they do:

Hi everyone!
INTERESTING THREADS FOR THE MOON MONTH OF OCTOBER
There are a few very interesting threads that come through this next moon month that have a bearing not so much on our personal lives, but more on the bigger picture of the world, making it important for all of us to keep a “world” vision and to think bigger than just our own individual issues and lives.
This is a time of true leadership for each one that is awake enough to realise the opportunities of creative change!
LIGHTER ENERGIES THIS MONTH
The new moon has started in the sign of Libra and the energy feels much lighter than last month. Yesterday on the 30th September it was Rosh Hashana which is the Jewish New Year‘s Day often celebrated by cutting your hair, wearing new clothes or white to symbolise purity. Bread is baked in the shape of a crown or a ladder to join heaven and earth and in the afternoon one would pray next to water to let go of what you no longer need in your life, announcing a time of renewal and new beginnings.
On the 1st October you can also run up to a high place to see the new moon as this marks the end of the Ramadaan fast according to the Islamic tradition.
So this is a month to be creative and busy, because with the beginning of something new, so much more can now be achieved!
Also remember that working with the new moon is very important, because you can use your understanding of the cycle to create something very powerful and valuable and this energy can then be harvested during the time of the full moon.
FIRST THREAD: PEACE FOR OUR PLANET
The first thread I see for this month is happening on the evening of the 1st October when –especially from the southern hemisphere- you will see during twilight close to the crescent of the new moon the planets of Venus and Mars. This is quite significant, because the new moon starts in the sign of Libra that is ruled by Venus and the full moon on the 14th October is in the sign of Aries that is ruled by Mars. It is therefore as if there is an opportunity to “tune” into both the new moon and the full moon right at the beginning of the moon cycle and you can anchor some powerful intentions during this time for the whole moon month to come.
Libra is the sign of justice and harmony and so one of these intentions is about creating good karma and justice for situations on the planet where there has not been peace before (see also the full moon meditation below).
Mirroring this intention of peace beautifully on the second of October is the anniversary of the birthday of Mahatma (Great Soul) Ghandi who famously stood for peace and self reliance. He chose to live creatively and non-violently and was against war and all weapons of war. And - as if on cue, the next day on 3rd October, it is Unity Day in Germany, celebrating the unification of Germany that started a process of great change in the world toward bringing down the Iron Curtain and the falling of the Berlin Wall. And the day after, (4th October) it is World Animal Day!
As an animal lover, I would like to share the information that I have received about animals and especially wild animals at the moment. They are of incredible service to the planet, especially during these times of great change, as they are able to receive the increased vibrations of the Earth’s evolution much more easily than we do because of their natural and pure state, especially in the wild, and these are then “stepped down” to the animals we have in our homes who in turn help us as humans to receive the higher vibrations. We therefore owe them unbelievable gratitude for the service they are providing to us at the moment and it truly is time for us to realise how much they are helping us to create a peaceful and safe planet for our future.
SECOND THREAD: CREATING A DRIVE FOR SELF RELIANCE AND AN END TO POVERTY
On the day after the full moon (the 15th October) the planet Mars (who also rules the full moon on the 14th)- now fast sinking into the sunset - goes into the constellation of Libra (the same sign who ruled the new moon). This means that Mars and the Sun are both in the same sign – Libra- and this powerful alliance can help us to make real progress through action.
And once again, as if on cue, the day after Mars moves into Libra, it is World Food day (16th October) and the day after that- on the 17th October it is International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.
I find it significant that this month we once again have a full moon in Aries (governed by Mars) and to me it feels like Mars is helping us to really take action and create a new order of things. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and governs inspiration and action and this is perfect in view of the dire need Africa and other poor countries have in terms of food and resources. This is a period where there can be powerful initiatives to create a world where these poor areas can start to become more self reliant in terms of food and basic resources.
In this vein of poverty, I would like to share a poem that some of you may have already read, but is worth sharing again not only for Africa, but all the countries of the world that are in need at the moment:
E-Africa
We gather here – the time is right –
To lift our continent to the light –
A sacred ceremony we will hold
To bring our nation in the fold.
A crystal palace we invoke
To over light this land of hope –
To all the Angels we appeal
We want our Africa to heal.
May light and love and peace prevail
Our land is sad and very frail.

called the Ivy Moon, the Leaf Dance Moon, the Blood Moon and the Song Moon
Jupiter is still a magnificent sight in the evening sky, low down in the south and west as seen from the northern hemisphere and high in the north and west as seen from the southern hemisphere. Venus is still brighter than Jupiter but is much nearer the sunset. Venus climbs away from the sun as the weeks pass. On the morning of 25th October the old crescent moon is near Saturn in the eastern sky and on the morning of 27th October it is near Mercury.
Full moon is on Tuesday, the 14th October at 21h03.
PEACE KARMA MEDITATION WITH THE
FULL MOON OCTOBER 2008
MEDITATION (as abridged from a meditation for South Africa that was sent to me and special thanks to Marietjie Novak for forwarding this to me)
Sit comfortably where you are, with you feet firmly on the ground, and your arms and legs are uncrossed…
You start to feel roots growing out from under your feet, and these roots reach into the surface of the earth…
The roots move further and further down towards the core of the Earth, wrapping their strong roots around this core, grounding you for this meditation…
The roots start to draw up this wonderful energy of the Earth, back up towards the surface…up and into your feet…
This grounding energy moves up your shins, your knees, your thighs…
Moving into your hips, relaxing and soothing your joints…
Moving up further to your abdomen, your chest, up to your shoulders…
Down your arms, to your wrists, moving right into your finger tips…
The energy moves up your neck, your chin, feel it moving into your ears, relaxing your further and further…
Moving into your eyes, relaxing the eyelids, moving up to the top of your head…
You now call upon the mighty Archangel Michael of protection, to please place his deep blue cloak of protection all around your body…
And to then zip up the cloak from underneath your feet, all the way up to underneath your chin…
You start to move off your chair, and walk into a garden…you feel the warm relaxing sun on your back…the grass underneath you…the sound of silence…and feeling of calmness…
You are completely safe and protected…
Then, in front of you, you see a magnificent golden light moving closer towards you…
This light comforts you, and helps you to feel more and more relaxed…
As this light comes closer, you see that it is your Guardian Angel…your angel is here to protect you…and accompany you on this journey…
Your guardian angel now leads you by the hand, up a flight of white stairs…you slowly start to walk up these white stairs…one…two…three…four…five…you take you time to pause as you feel a warmth of love around you…six…seven…eight…nine…ten…your angels tells you that you will now be meeting with the Lords of Karma…
At the top of the stairs, you come up to a huge door, where the Lords of Karma are waiting for you…your angel slowly pushes this door open for you…and it is now time for you to enter the room…
In front of you sit the Lords of Karma…they are seated around a horse shoe shaped table…
You can feel their incredible light shining from these beings, as well as feel their incredible compassion being sent towards you…
You thank them for giving you this time…
They now ask you, what it is that you wish to ask them…
You now ask them, under grace, for the release of the world’s karma…as well as the release of the karma from your country, so that we may start to create a peaceful and better life for all here…
The Lords of Karma are telling you now, that your request has been granted…
You now thank them for what has been given to you, and for their time…
Your guardian angel now takes you by the hand and leads you out of the room, towards the stairs…you start to walk down the stairs, where you will be lead back into your garden…you start to reach the bottom of the stairs, stepping down slowly on each step…ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five…you can now feel the warmth coming from your garden…four, three, two, one…
You are now safely back in your garden, and your angel invites you over to a pond where there is a silver full moon …your angel tells you that this is a pond of manifestation, and that whatever you visualise can be manifested in your world…
You start to visualise the people in the world and your country, smiling and laughing…
Children playing safely and happily in peace…
Couples enjoying safe walks on the beach at night…
War zones that have been transformed into beauty and peace
People walking the streets safely at night…
Families enjoying so much time together, as the pace of life relaxes so much for each of us…
Communities working lovingly together, on cleaning rivers and parks, where people can enjoy socialising together…
The economies of the world strengthening and creating abundance for all …
Governments working together lovingly, giving so much back to people of their countries…
See yourself enjoying all the small and large things that the world and your country and the world has to offer…
See the rest of the world looking towards your country as inspiration, for how life can be lived…
A country where each and every person’s life is happy and fulfilled, knowing there is peace and abundance of all, for everyone…
You tell your angel, that this is what you wish to manifest…
Your angel now asks that you start to live your life as if this life you ask for has already happened, and know that the energy you put in today, will start to manifest itself, immediately
And you now are being led back out of your garden…back into your chair, where you started
Thank the Moon and start to bring your awareness back to your chair…move your feet a little bit…move your finger tips…your shoulders…and when you’re ready…open your eyes…

I thought it may be interesting for those of you who do not know the Biophile magazine to read about the information in a recent article that I wrote for them:
THE EARTH SOUL- CREATING A BRIGHT NEW FUTURE
Imagine the sea rising around you, so that your country is literally disappearing beneath your very feet.
Imagine the food you grow and the water you drink are being destroyed by salt, and there are desperate conflicts over fresh water and food.
Imagine that your only salvation is to seek refuge in another land where you as a climate change refugee has no status, and where the coasts are likely to be disappearing too.
This is not a bad dream. It is at this time a very real possibility for millions of people who live on islands around the world, including places close to home such as the Maldives and Seychelles. With most of its 1196 tiny islands barely 2 meters above sea level, a 1 meter rise in the event of a storm surge will jeopardise the Maldives’ entire survival.
That is why, in an unprecedented step, these countries have called on the Security Council of the United Nations to address climate change as a pressing threat to international peace and security, and to treat it with the urgency usually only given to the possibility of war.
These countries are saying that it is time for the rest of the world to wake up and acknowledge that what is happening right now, is just the first wave of devastating impacts from climate change that will soon threaten us all:
“Palalu has lost at least one third of its coral reefs due to climate change related weather patterns. We also lost most of our agricultural production due to drought and extreme high tides. These are not theoretical, scientific losses- they are the losses of our resources and our livelihoods… For Island states, time is not running out. It has run out. And our path may very well be the window to your own future and the future of our planet.” - President Remengesau of Palau, a small island in the Pacific
So what is happening to our planet at the moment?
Major Earth Changes
On the 31st August 2008 shocking news were reported in the Independent UK newspaper: the latest images from a NASA satellite confirmed that for the first time in human history and at least 125,000 years, it is now possible to circumnavigate around the North Pole. The images showed that the north-west and north-east passages had both opened and that open water now stretches all the way around the Arctic. All because of an unexpectedly rapid melting of the ice cap that is being described by some as its “death spiral”.
Until recently it was predicted that the inevitable disappearance of the ice cap because of global warming will only happen around 2070, but many scientists now predict that the Artic Ocean will be completely ice free in summer by 2030 or even as early as 2013.
A massive cracking has also been reported in the Petermann glacier in the far north of Greenland that until now had been unaffected by global warming and in an unprecedented sighting, nine stranded polar bears were seen off Alaska trying to swim 400 miles north to the retreating icecap edge.
Thawing glaciers have caused flooding recently and tourists had to be evacuated from Baffin Island’s Auyuittuq National Park. “Auyuittuq ironically means “land that never melts.”
The process feeds on itself. As white ice is replaced by the sea, the dark surface absorbs more heat and that in turn warms the ocean and melts more ice.
As the sea is overwhelming the land, it is scientifically recorded that there is a measurable reversal of the magnetic spin of the Earth in the South Atlantic Ocean which could mean that we are heading for a reversal of the North and South Poles, and that our magnetic field is weakening with the result that the Earth’s atmosphere is becoming less protected.
We are also experiencing a rapid increase in destructive storms and rain. What have in the past been unprecedented weather patterns, are now fast becoming normal day to day occurrences.
The Earth seems to be going through an intensified process of healing and purification to heal herself and to undo our bad karma for destroying her in so many places through our ignorance and arrogance and greed. Huge energies are emerging and we are witnessing enormous and unpredictable waves that are forcing us to make different decisions and find new solutions for the way we are living on our Earth.
The Earth Soul
We have to learn that the Earth is not just a one dimensional being as we have always been taught to see her. She is a living breathing being that has a soul, just like us - although on a much vaster scale. We have become so used to living upon the surface of reality, without being in touch with this soul, that with the dramatic up surging and change of her life energies at the moment, we are too weak to withstand the change.
We now must become more aware of her consciousness and energy systems, so that we can create a new link with her soul and become stronger to cope with all the radical changes that are happening all around us.
We have to change the way that we think, feel and exist and we have to learn to communicate with the Earth soul. This involves us learning to perceive the more subtle dimensions of the Earth, so that we not only relate to the physical or material part of her, but also to the etheric and energetic parts of her Soul.
Recent events are telling us that we have to step up our game and what we are doing at the moment is just not enough! A greater sense of personal involvement is needed and it is no use leaving it to governments and scientists to resolve. Time is running out for us as a humanity on this planet.
The changes are affecting all of us, and every person who cares enough about the future and our responsibility to future generations, must now become actively involved in playing their part in Earth healing.
Earth Healing
What is Earth Healing and how can I help?
Earth healing requires an awareness of the Earth on an energetic level. By learning to “feel” the energies of the Earth and how they vary in different places, one can start to develop a personal relationship with the Earth and the Earth Soul that is an intangible energy that is very real. In some areas such as places of outstanding natural beauty and undisturbed nature reserves, the Earth Soul is still strong and it is easy to connect and communicate with her. Many experience this as a feeling of “sacredness”.
The ancient indigenous people that were connected to the Earth such as the ancient Inca and Maya, knew that in certain places on the Earth it was much easier to be in touch with the Earth Soul and so they built ancient temples and pyramids there.
And by having this exchange of energy awareness and honouring of the sacredness or Earth Soul through ceremonies and healing intentions, they strengthened not only their connection to the Earth Soul, but also the Earth’s own natural cycles.
They understood and consciously worked with the influences of the Sun, Moon and stars and planets and so worked with the forces of nature, instead of against them as we so often do now through our ignorance and insensitivity.
The ancient civilisations could anticipate and knew how to work with change which they accepted as a natural and inevitable part of the Earth’s process.
The Ancient Inca engineers, for example, built their cities like Machu Picchu, according to the universal laws of nature and through their incredible understanding and craftsmanship knew exactly where to position certain structures so as to stimulate the flow of energies in the Earth. They were also masters of working with water, constructing waterways and irrigation systems out of stone that to this day still baffle modern technology.
What is the value of ancient civilisations?
And so where does this all leave us today?
It is time for us to revisit the clues that had been left for us by these ancient civilisations. We need to go back to understanding what the meaning is of the legacies they left behind.
And this we will not be able to find through a search of the rational mind only. This will be the result only of a search of the much Higher Mind, the Heart, that is willing to acknowledge and explore the unseen, understand the Soul energies of the Earth through feeling and communicating with them, and actively engage the Earth’s many kingdoms so as to raise our understanding of what is required to save us from the disaster of having no future.
Then we can -and will – start to build a bright and completely New World and future in these times of great uncertainty.

INTERESTING THREADS FOR THE MOON MONTH OF OCTOBER
There are a few very interesting threads that come through this next moon month that have a bearing not so much on our personal lives, but more on the bigger picture of the world, making it important for all of us to keep a “world” vision and to think bigger than just our own individual issues and lives.
This is a time of true leadership for each one that is awake enough to realise the opportunities of creative change!
LIGHTER ENERGIES THIS MONTH
The new moon has started in the sign of Libra and the energy feels much lighter than last month. Yesterday on the 30th September it was Rosh Hashana which is the Jewish New Year‘s Day often celebrated by cutting your hair, wearing new clothes or white to symbolise purity. Bread is baked in the shape of a crown or a ladder to join heaven and earth and in the afternoon one would pray next to water to let go of what you no longer need in your life, announcing a time of renewal and new beginnings.
On the 1st October you can also run up to a high place to see the new moon as this marks the end of the Ramadaan fast according to the Islamic tradition.
So this is a month to be creative and busy, because with the beginning of something new, so much more can now be achieved!
Also remember that working with the new moon is very important, because you can use your understanding of the cycle to create something very powerful and valuable and this energy can then be harvested during the time of the full moon.
FIRST THREAD: PEACE FOR OUR PLANET
The first thread I see for this month is happening on the evening of the 1st October when –especially from the southern hemisphere- you will see during twilight close to the crescent of the new moon the planets of Venus and Mars. This is quite significant, because the new moon starts in the sign of Libra that is ruled by Venus and the full moon on the 14th October is in the sign of Aries that is ruled by Mars. It is therefore as if there is an opportunity to “tune” into both the new moon and the full moon right at the beginning of the moon cycle and you can anchor some powerful intentions during this time for the whole moon month to come.
Libra is the sign of justice and harmony and so one of these intentions is about creating good karma and justice for situations on the planet where there has not been peace before (see also the full moon meditation below).
Mirroring this intention of peace beautifully on the second of October is the anniversary of the birthday of Mahatma (Great Soul) Ghandi who famously stood for peace and self reliance. He chose to live creatively and non-violently and was against war and all weapons of war. And - as if on cue, the next day on 3rd October, it is Unity Day in Germany, celebrating the unification of Germany that started a process of great change in the world toward bringing down the Iron Curtain and the falling of the Berlin Wall. And the day after, (4th October) it is World Animal Day!
As an animal lover, I would like to share the information that I have received about animals and especially wild animals at the moment. They are of incredible service to the planet, especially during these times of great change, as they are able to receive the increased vibrations of the Earth’s evolution much more easily than we do because of their natural and pure state, especially in the wild, and these are then “stepped down” to the animals we have in our homes who in turn help us as humans to receive the higher vibrations. We therefore owe them unbelievable gratitude for the service they are providing to us at the moment and it truly is time for us to realise how much they are helping us to create a peaceful and safe planet for our future.
SECOND THREAD: CREATING A DRIVE FOR SELF RELIANCE AND AN END TO POVERTY
On the day after the full moon (the 15th October) the planet Mars (who also rules the full moon on the 14th)- now fast sinking into the sunset - goes into the constellation of Libra (the same sign who ruled the new moon). This means that Mars and the Sun are both in the same sign – Libra- and this powerful alliance can help us to make real progress through action.
And once again, as if on cue, the day after Mars moves into Libra, it is World Food day (16th October) and the day after that- on the 17th October it is International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.
I find it significant that this month we once again have a full moon in Aries (governed by Mars) and to me it feels like Mars is helping us to really take action and create a new order of things. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and governs inspiration and action and this is perfect in view of the dire need Africa and other poor countries have in terms of food and resources. Imagine that your only salvation is to seek refuge in another land where you as a climate change refugee has no status, and where the coasts are likely to be disappearing too.
This is not a bad dream. It is at this time a very real possibility for millions of people who live on islands around the world, including places close to home such as the Maldives and Seychelles. With most of its 1196 tiny islands barely 2 meters above sea level, a 1 meter rise in the event of a storm surge will jeopardise the Maldives’ entire survival.
That is why, in an unprecedented step, these countries have called on the Security Council of the United Nations to address climate change as a pressing threat to international peace and security, and to treat it with the urgency usually only given to the possibility of war.
These countries are saying that it is time for the rest of the world to wake up and acknowledge that what is happening right now, is just the first wave of devastating impacts from climate change that will soon threaten us all:
“Palalu has lost at least one third of its coral reefs due to climate change related weather patterns. We also lost most of our agricultural production due to drought and extreme high tides. These are not theoretical, scientific losses- they are the losses of our resources and our livelihoods… For Island states, time is not running out. It has run out. And our path may very well be the window to your own future and the future of our planet.” - President Remengesau of Palau, a small island in the Pacific
So what is happening to our planet at the moment?
Major Earth Changes
On the 31st August 2008 shocking news were reported in the Independent UK newspaper: the latest images from a NASA satellite confirmed that for the first time in human history and at least 125,000 years, it is now possible to circumnavigate around the North Pole. The images showed that the north-west and north-east passages had both opened and that open water now stretches all the way around the Arctic. All because of an unexpectedly rapid melting of the ice cap that is being described by some as its “death spiral”.
Until recently it was predicted that the inevitable disappearance of the ice cap because of global warming will only happen around 2070, but many scientists now predict that the Artic Ocean will be completely ice free in summer by 2030 or even as early as 2013.
A massive cracking has also been reported in the Petermann glacier in the far north of Greenland that until now had been unaffected by global warming and in an unprecedented sighting, nine stranded polar bears were seen off Alaska trying to swim 400 miles north to the retreating icecap edge.
Thawing glaciers have caused flooding recently and tourists had to be evacuated from Baffin Island’s Auyuittuq National Park. “Auyuittuq ironically means “land that never melts.”
The process feeds on itself. As white ice is replaced by the sea, the dark surface absorbs more heat and that in turn warms the ocean and melts more ice.
As the sea is overwhelming the land, it is scientifically recorded that there is a measurable reversal of the magnetic spin of the Earth in the South Atlantic Ocean which could mean that we are heading for a reversal of the North and South Poles, and that our magnetic field is weakening with the result that the Earth’s atmosphere is becoming less protected.
We are also experiencing a rapid increase in destructive storms and rain. What have in the past been unprecedented weather patterns, are now fast becoming normal day to day occurrences.
The Earth seems to be going through an intensified process of healing and purification to heal herself and to undo our bad karma for destroying her in so many places through our ignorance and arrogance and greed. Huge energies are emerging and we are witnessing enormous and unpredictable waves that are forcing us to make different decisions and find new solutions for the way we are living on our Earth.
The Earth Soul
We have to learn that the Earth is not just a one dimensional being as we have always been taught to see her. She is a living breathing being that has a soul, just like us - although on a much vaster scale. We have become so used to living upon the surface of reality, without being in touch with this soul, that with the dramatic up surging and change of her life energies at the moment, we are too weak to withstand the change.
We now must become more aware of her consciousness and energy systems, so that we can create a new link with her soul and become stronger to cope with all the radical changes that are happening all around us.
We have to change the way that we think, feel and exist and we have to learn to communicate with the Earth soul. This involves us learning to perceive the more subtle dimensions of the Earth, so that we not only relate to the physical or material part of her, but also to the etheric and energetic parts of her Soul.
Recent events are telling us that we have to step up our game and what we are doing at the moment is just not enough! A greater sense of personal involvement is needed and it is no use leaving it to governments and scientists to resolve. Time is running out for us as a humanity on this planet.
The changes are affecting all of us, and every person who cares enough about the future and our responsibility to future generations, must now become actively involved in playing their part in Earth healing.
Earth Healing
What is Earth Healing and how can I help?
Earth healing requires an awareness of the Earth on an energetic level. By learning to “feel” the energies of the Earth and how they vary in different places, one can start to develop a personal relationship with the Earth and the Earth Soul that is an intangible energy that is very real. In some areas such as places of outstanding natural beauty and undisturbed nature reserves, the Earth Soul is still strong and it is easy to connect and communicate with her. Many experience this as a feeling of “sacredness”.
The ancient indigenous people that were connected to the Earth such as the ancient Inca and Maya, knew that in certain places on the Earth it was much easier to be in touch with the Earth Soul and so they built ancient temples and pyramids there.
And by having this exchange of energy awareness and honouring of the sacredness or Earth Soul through ceremonies and healing intentions, they strengthened not only their connection to the Earth Soul, but also the Earth’s own natural cycles.
They understood and consciously worked with the influences of the Sun, Moon and stars and planets and so worked with the forces of nature, instead of against them as we so often do now through our ignorance and insensitivity.
The ancient civilisations could anticipate and knew how to work with change which they accepted as a natural and inevitable part of the Earth’s process.
The Ancient Inca engineers, for example, built their cities like Machu Picchu, according to the universal laws of nature and through their incredible understanding and craftsmanship knew exactly where to position certain structures so as to stimulate the flow of energies in the Earth. They were also masters of working with water, constructing waterways and irrigation systems out of stone that to this day still baffle modern technology.
What is the value of ancient civilisations?
And so where does this all leave us today?
It is time for us to revisit the clues that had been left for us by these ancient civilisations. We need to go back to understanding what the meaning is of the legacies they left behind.
And this we will not be able to find through a search of the rational mind only. This will be the result only of a search of the much Higher Mind, the Heart, that is willing to acknowledge and explore the unseen, understand the Soul energies of the Earth through feeling and communicating with them, and actively engage the Earth’s many kingdoms so as to raise our understanding of what is required to save us from the disaster of having no future.
Then we can -and will – start to build a bright and completely New World and future in these times of great uncertainty.
